In 1977 I purchased the album "White Christmas" IT IS WORN OUT and I am unable to replace it. Is there any possibility that it will be reissued? I particularly adore "Baby, what are you going to be" an am sorry that it is not included in any other album.

I sight read great, blend great but can carry my own when necessary. I'm mostly concerned about theory. Any suggestio s on how I could prepare to try out when an opening is available. Thanks

When does PBS plan to air the "Tanner Gift of Music" concert 2000? I am interested because our choir, Okanagan Festival Singers, happened to hire two of your featured soloists (Breault & Schellenberg) for our Handel's Messiah at the end of Nov. 2000. As a genealogist and a singer, my fondist wish is to visit Salt Lake City to hear the MTS and visit the FHL! Greetings from Kelowna, BC, Canada!

Just recently purchased your 1985 CD of the Copland Old American Songs(complete sets I & II). I would like to program these choral/orchestral arrangements with my chorus but am having considerable difficulty obtaining the score (I've found the solo song ersions but no luck with the choral arrangements with orchestra). Any suggestions on how to locate these arrangements would be most helpful. Many thanks.

Great site ... it shows your love for the choir. I have "Hail to the Victors" on vinyl. The album jacket notes at that time obtusely refered to the possibility that the choir might release another album of college songs. Aside from the re-release, was there ever another college song album? If there was, I'd love to get it in any media format.

I am always in awe of the precision and spiritual uplift that a choir the size as our magnificent choir has. I am puzzled though, that more emphasis is not placed on diction, which is fundemental in school and college choirs.. Just this a.m. for instance, instead of singing Amer-i-ca and Jer-i-cho, the choir seemed to be singing Amer-ee-ca and Jer-ee-cho. This is sad. In the past, as well, broadcasts of hymns and anthems not so familiar that I was able to sing along from past experience with that particular number, I could NOT discern their text. I could tell what they were singing ONLY if I knew the words of the hymn they were mouthing. This is an ongoing problem for this choir and I do think it needs improvement. Thanks.

Really enjoyed your webpage. Do you still have your radio broadcasts. I used to tune in regularly when I lived in Chicago. I have relocated to Philadelphia. Do you service the Philadelphia area? If so, what station and time are you aired on Sunday. Do you still have the same announcer. I am not sure of his name, but he has been announcing for quite sometime now. Are any of your former Tabernacle Organists and Condutors still alive? Robert Cundick and Alexander Schreiner?

I am interested in locating a disc which has both "Dixie" and "Battle Hymn of the Republic" Second, I like Alexander Schreiner's "Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Organ and Chimes". Are there any plans to re-release any of these older LPs on CDs? Third, how can one order from overseas? I am in Spain. Whit Wirsing

I enjoyed searching through your web page and found that it contained a lot of information. I have a question that I wonder if you might be able to help me with. My mom loves Christmas music and the Tabernacle Choir. She has been searching for years to fi d a CD of "White Christmas" with no luck. She had a tape of that album that was extremely worn. But, that was stolen or lost some time ago. I would love to be able to find that CD for her for Christmas this year. If you know where I can find it or if it i still in print ANYWHERE I would (along with my mother I'm sure) appreciate it very much. PLEASE let me know if you have any information. Thank you and MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Adrienne Gray Salt Lake City rockyage@yahoo.com

I love your website. Thanks, so much, for providing it. I have never seen the Album/CD the choir did in Sydney, Austrailia. It's title is listed in upper/lower so it is apparently no longer in print, if it ever was, in the USA. Any idea, at all, of how I might be able to find a copy of it? Any used record/cd shops in Salt Lake?
